Job Title: Document Control Specialist I
Department: Quality
Reports to: Quality Manager
Job Class: Hourly non-exempt
Pay Rate: Dependent upon experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the documentation systems by revising, editing, distributing, and tracing of related documentation and assist with file migrations
- Performs contract review
- Serves as an internal auditor for AS9100
- Assists in the pre-audit preparation of internal and external audits
- Store, manage and track company documents
- Complete updates and process redlined documents as needed
- Research product compliance to conflict minerals, REACH and RoHS
- Input and update item numbers, routers and BOMs in ERP system
- Serves as back up to the FSO (Facility Security Officer) and assists in export compliance tasks
- Mange external standards (ISO, AS etc.)
- Works with information that may be of a confidential nature
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Supervises:
- None
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required as well as Adobe Reader.
- Good documentation and communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. Organized and reliable.
Education, Experience & Training:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with a technology firm preferred
- ERP experience desired
Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
- Some light lifting required
