Position: Electronic PCB Layout Drafter

e are looking for an outstanding person with strong PCB design skills to become an integral part of our Engineering CAD department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop PCB layouts based on electrical schematics, mechanical input, and detailed documentation.
• Incorporate a manufacturing perspective into designs to ensure efficient and effective mass production.
• Coordinate closely with RF and Electrical Engineers to create tightly integrated PCB designs for final products.
• Present PCB designs for technical review, ensuring compliance with company processes.
• Prepare comprehensive PCB document packages for manufacturing, including assembly drawings and Gerber files.
• Interface with Board manufacturer to resolve issues related to layout design.
• Must be able to work on ITAR data without license.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated expertise in the use of professional-level PCB CAD tools.
• Experience working in a product development environment.
• Highly detailed, organized, and able to work in a team environment.
• (Desirable) Experience with PCB design for RF products.
• (Desirable) Experience with Mentor Graphics.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of applicable experience in PCB layout design.
• Experience with the layout of analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with footprint/symbol creation and library management.
• Understanding of the Printed Circuit Board Assembly manufacturing process.
